RYEW RANCH DAY

We're working on plans for a great day on the estate for our Robert Young Wine Club members. Barbecue on the overlook. Wine and food pairings. Seminars. Gondola rides through the vineyards. Barrel Tastings. Photography opportunities around the ranch/estate. We'll be tasting some exciting releases of our very small production wines that are coming up: Bob’s Burn Pile Cab 06. Barrel Select Chardonnay '07. Area 27 Chardonnay (a new item of lightly oaked Chardonnay from the original planting area of RY clone vines). Merlot '06. Big Rock Block Cab '06— 2006 was a very nice vintage. And finally, there will be a wine sale of special bottles from Robert Young’s Cellar. More details and your invitation are coming soon.

A Few Photos of the Fun

We served up an authentic taste of history— as well as a barbershop quartet, some great wine, and barbecued pork sliders with coleslaw. A few pictures:

The Cloverdale Historical Society brought the authentic stage that used to transport tourists to the Geysers Resort in the 1860's over a toll road. People used to flock to the valley in the 1860's and they still do today.
