Our 2016 Alexander Valley Cabernet is seductive and embracing with black cherry compote, ripe mission figs, currants and melted dark chocolate. Silky rich layers of juicy plums, pomegranates and cherries with hints of dusty cocoa, sweet tobacco and lavender. Decant for just a few hours to bring out the incredible ruby red fruits and enjoy a lasting full finish.
Our 1st vintage in honor of Robert Young’s father, Silas. This is the best of the best of our Cabernets with 90% Cabernet Sauvignon and a touch of Petit Verdot for added complexity. Aromas of rich cocoa, blackberry, boysenberry and a touch of currant and fresh figs. The flavors echo the aromas with additions of juicy plums and a delicate touch of mint. A plush full-bodied cabernet that is beautifully balanced, deep, and lingering. Just about perfect from beginning to end.
